Event Details: Learn how to strengthen the capacity of individuals, institutions, and society as a whole in post-conflict environments. Master the transfer of knowledge including adult-learning principles, building rapport, developing conflict sensitivity, assessing local capacity, and supporting local ownership and sustainability.

Participants will be able to:
-Conduct needs and capacity assessments to determine appropriate training and education subject matter
-Design and implement training programs that engage adult learners in fragile environments
-Work with local communities to design and implement programs
-Manage challenges raised by political, social and cultural differences
-Generate buy-in and build coalitions among local groups and leaders
-Understand and manage expectations of donor and beneficiary groups
-Effectively address controversial topics
