DC Labor FilmFest Opening Night Showing of "Stop-Loss"
A coalition event of labor, peace, veterans and public health organizations.
WHAT: Showing of "Stop-Loss" about a soldier fighting the involuntary extension of his active duty in Iraq. There will be a discussion in the theater's Café with Adam Kokesh, Iraq Veterans Against the War, following the film.
WHY: To build bridges between the Labor Movement, Peace Movement, Veterans Movement and Public Health organizations.
Tickets for this event can be purchased online here. The cost is $10 per regular adult ticket, $9 for seniors, $6 for kids 12 and under, and $8.50 for AFI members.
