The year 2008 marks the 60th anniversary of the Nakba ("the catastrophe"): the expulsion and dispossession of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes and land in 1948.

The US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation is soliciting entries for a commemoration of the Nakba through personal expressions in the form of visual arts, essays, poetry, music, video and digital media.

Before answering you should first join SALSA for this documentary and discussion forum examining the mysteries and controversies still looming around this question. You'll learn how the murder of one of the most influential people of our time is treated as a closed case while the evidence against the man convicted is much less than conclusive. The discussion will be lead by John Judge, who will have just returned from a conference in Memphis TN called "The Assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Killing the Dream". John has been an independent researcher into political assassinations since the mid-sixties.
