Prof. Manuel S. Hassassian, teaches Conflict Resolution at Maryland
University. He has served as a consultant to the Higher Ministerial
Committee for Church Affairs, the Ministry of Planning and
International Cooperation and UNESCO, the Palestinian Negotiating Team
on Refugee Final Settlement, the Orient House P.L.O. Office in
Jerusalem, Representative of the PLO on Second Track Diplomacy. Since
November 2005 Manuel serves as PLO ambassador to the United Kingdom.
