Established in 1997 to, in the words of Peter Maurin, contribute to creating a “society where it is easier to be good.”  The Center contributes to this in these ways:

*evangelization in the Catholic Worker tradition.  Primary project is the Catholic Worker Bookstore.

*Education for peace and justice. Advancing the position that war is our central social problem, and that learning how to live without it is essential to progress, socially and politically, spiritually and morally.
