The mission of the AFSC DC Peace and Economic Justice Program is to bring together people from throughout the DC area to work to build a community at peace where social and economic justice prevail. Using tools and strengths from its Quaker base, and through its different activities including, Youth In the Know workshops, Help Increase the Peace Program (HIPP) training, peace activism, support to immigrant communities, AFSC DC works to cultivate effective and appropriate responses to conflicts and injustices.
