Works to increase parents’ knowledge of their children’s rights within the Local Education Agency and the obligations of that Agency to both parent and child, to encourage and help empower parents to become better educational advocates on behalf of their children in the Public Schools and in the Juvenile Justice System, and to increase parental involvement in the educational and judicial aspects of their child’s life.
